Important pattern for English
S+V_ + O + only to + V. I bought a pen to lose (नको असलेली क्रिया).
मी फक्त गमावण्यासाठी पेन घेतलो.
S+V_ + O + while + S + V +0
I woke up while she ran away.
जेव्हा मी उठले, तेव्हा तो दूर पळाली.
S + will + V+O, If + S + V +0
He will study two hours.
If he studies at all.
तो दोन तास अभ्यास केला तरी खुप झाले.
Unless + simple present tense, simple future tense. Unless he plays well,
he won't get a lot of money.
जर तो चांगला खेळला नाही. त्याला पैसे मिळणार नाहीत.
S + hear / notice / smell+see+0+ Vt+ing
I hear someone crying.
मी कोणीतरी रडतांना एकतो.
S+to be (or feel) + adjective.
(उष्णता, उबर, तहान, थंडी, भय, भूक, इत्यादी शारीरिक अवस्थाचे वर्णन)
He is hungry.
त्याला भुक लागली आहे.
S + seem + not to be + noun / adj
He seems not to be a Head Master
. तो मुख्याध्यापक आहे असे वाटत नाही.
S+se +to have + p.p +o
She seems to have left the country.
ती देश सोडून गेली असे वाटते
S + H.V + not + as adj as + O
Pune is not as cool as Bangalore
. पुणे बंगलोर इतके थंड नाही.
S+H.V. + adj..er / more + than + 0 Bangalore is cooler than pune
. बंगलोर पुण्यापेक्षा अधिक थंड आहे.
S + H.V. + the + adj.est / most + O
Ashok was the greatest in kings.
सर्व राजामध्ये अशोक हा सर्वात थोर होता.
S + H.V. + adj.er / more than any other + O Ashok was greater than any other kings. इतर कोणत्याही राजापेक्षा अशोक चोर होता.
