A Noun नाम
Def: "A word used as the name of person, place or things and animal is called a noun. I short we can say, noun is a name telling word."
व्याख्या
"व्यक्ती, ठिकाण किंवा वस्तूंच्या प्राण्यांच्या नावासाठी योजिलेल्या शब्दास नाम म्हणतात. थोडक्यात नाव सांगणाऱ्या शब्दास नाम असे म्हणतात.
प्रत्येक व्यक्ती, प्राणी, वनस्पती, ठिकाण, वस्तू व कल्पना यांना कोणते ना कोणते नाव असतेच नावाशिवाय आपण कशाचीच कल्पना करू शकत नाही "

1) Shivaji Maharaj was founder of swarajya.
शिवाजी महाराज स्वराज्याचे जनक होते.
2)Mumbai is a capital of Maharashtra.
मुंबई ही महाराष्ट्राची राजधानी आहे.
3) Gold is the precious metal सोने हे अनमोल धातू आहे.
4) Moon shines in the night.
चंद्र रात्रीला चकाकतो.
5)Lion is a king of animal
सिंह हा प्राण्यांचा राजा आहे.
Bold words in above examples are NOUN वरील उदाहरणातील जाड शब्द ही नामे आहेत.
